Card Migration

What is Card Migration?

Card Migration is a secure process that involves transferring a Merchant's sensitive primary account number data (PAN) from one payment provider to another. This enables the Merchant to seamlessly process payments for customers using their stored card details when transitioning from another payment platform to ClearAccept, without requiring cardholders to update their payment information.

What is the process to migrate sensitive card data?

As a Merchant, it will be necessary for you to initiate the migration process with your current payment provider.  ClearAccept can then collaborate with the payment provider to oversee the smooth transfer process.

Usually, the payment provider will confirm ClearAccept's PCI DSS Level 1 compliance status and obtain a copy of our PGP Public Key. Convenient links to useful resources have been provided below.

What Payment Providers do ClearAccept support?

The table of payment providers below presents a comprehensive list of payment providers currently supported by ClearAccept, along with convenient links to their documentation for initiating the migration process. If your payment provider is not currently supported and you wish to migrate to ClearAccept, please feel free to Contact Us
